this....but I can't let this one go unanswered.

You'll forgive some of us on this side of the pond, Mark, if we 
frankly care very little what the citizens of our former mother 
country think of us.

At least we have some semblence of political debate over 
here...whilst you and yours dabble in the quasi-socialism that all of 
Europe has been enamoured of for the past several decades, it's 
spectacular failures nonewithstanding...

The hard-left of center politics that dominate the EU are simply very 
disturbing to a large portion of the American populace...and they 
always will be.
