Subject: SB: MAYBE IT´S TIME WE GOT BACK TO THE (SB)ASICS OF LIFE
With all of the recent political talk, this may be a good time to pose a
question that has bothered me for some time. Once again, I present the
¨breathability¨ issue.
I have read all of the archives. I participated in threads and received
great info from illustrious list members. (Begrudgingly, this includes
notorious moosehuggers.) One little apparent inconsistency still keeps me
awake at night
If a stucco of any sort permits humidity to pass either due to external
climactic conditions or due to internal humidity levels, wouldn´t that
humidity be equally able to exit when the external conditions change?? If it
works in one direction, it should work in reverse. . (I have a math degree
and tend to think in black and white- I´m not very good with the Zen-grey
thing)
Could this not explain the longevity of many stucco-covered SB homes?
