SB: subjective

well, the one thing i've learned from this
and other green lists is that green is a
VERY subjective concept with many varying degrees..........

I think this is something that needs to be repeated often. Clint and I
always tell groups that if you ask 6 SBers a question, you are liable to
get 6 different answers! That doesn't mean that any of them are right OR
wrong!

Another thing to keep in mind, is that here, as on all list serves, you
have no idea who someone is or if they have the foggiest idea about
anything. After you've been around for a while, you begin to know who has
ideas that are commonly accepted by the majority of readers, and those
are pretty dependable thoughts.

Sometimes there are running teases that are disconcerting to newcomers,
and then flames get thrown around defending bridges that were never in
danger in the first place, but that too, happens on most lists.

I shared my thoughts on "Robert pins" off list, as I wasn't willing to
spend a lot of time reading, answeing or debating my position!

We (as a community) have several cool things going on around the world
right now-- and another money raising project would be great, and its
cool to have some choices about where to send help. Being the crass
individual that I am, I'd rather skip the tee shirt and/or CD and just
send the money-- but I'm up for what every the majority decides.
