Thanks for the thoughts, Marcus. My intention is definitely to have someone
with a portable mill come by. My roof pitch will probably be somewhere
around 5:12, and not having done the math, I'm predicting 24' rafters or so.
I've got a feeling it may be hard to find someone with a portable rig to
handle it, but we'll see.
I'll check the lead on solar kilns. I'm assuming by "cutting corners" you
mean "don't build green"? Time to break out another jar of creativity...a
12 month cure delay will make it about18 months later than comfortable (not
that my present comfort level is any influence on the design/build process
=0).
Any other thoughts, anyone?
