SB: website review???

Hey SB'ers- coming out of lurkdom to share a real "find" with you. Ran
across a page on Passive Solar construction that had a few, ahem,
"interesting" observations about straw on it........ Copied a couple of
quotes below. Oh, in case you want to visit the site for a hands-on
experience yourself :
http://www.thenaturalhome.com/passivesolar.html
Enjoy,
Chris

>>Conventional stick framing, log homes, strawbale construction,
earthships, cob, and especially insulated concrete forms ("ICF's") are
simply not feasible, passive solar, sustainable design materials. <<

>>Strawbale homes have other problems too numerous to address here, but
one to keep in mind is the danger to your family's health. Straw
promotes exotic molds and fungus growths which if released into your
home, through cracks in the plaster, is really quite dangerous. <<
