Winds are strongest during the winter, when it's snow season. During that
time we can get sustained winds that are sometimes as high as 60 MPH
(thankfully the sustained winds usually top out 10 to 20 MPH lower than
that.) The occasional few days of drizzle are always just calm to
slightly breezy. And the summer thunderstorm season will see winds with
the storms, but just typical thunderstorm stuff. In between there is
usually some air movement -- it is rarely truly calm, but it's mostly
under 10 MPH stuff. Temps during the time period where we usually see
drizzles are cool -- 40s and 50s. So the building interior is going to be
warmer than the exterior at these times.

That is an obvious, good suggestion. :)

Oh, BTW, this is southeastern Wyoming. The site in particular is
approximately 40 miles north of Cheyenne, near the metropolis of
Chugwater, Wyoming.
