SB: Mineral Wool Uses

Hello, all.

     So, when I built my strawbale house, I insulated the roof with 
mineral wool batts.  I didn't quite use it all; I have about 70 left 
(4 feet long, 16 inches wide, 3 inches thick).  They have seen a bit 
of weather, but most of them are still fine (they hold up a lot 
better than fiberglass does).  I would use them myself, except that 
I'm done building for at least two years.  However, the superficial 
weathering almost certainly means that no one else will want them.

     (I tried to give them away to Habitat For Humanity a year ago, 
but they didn't return my calls.)

     So, I have this problem.  What useful thing can I do with about 
70 batts of mineral wool insulation?  I hate to landfill them.  I 
thought of landfilling them somewhere on my own property - they are, 
after all, rock - but the idea makes me uncomfortable.

     Any ideas?  (Anyone in my area have a use for them?  Free to all takers.)
