The only SB I know of right off the top of the head is the Burrit 
Museum.  I was built in the 30s or so, and is not your typical straw 
bale construction of today (if there is such a thing as typical).

Unfortunately, I don't have all the details handy on that, though I'm 
sure someone on this list can produce them.

Which reminds me.... Would someone please list those details in the 
Straw Bale Registry (http://sbregistry.greenbuilder.com)?

I'd be surprised if there weren't others in Alabama somewhere, but I 
don't have a record of them yet.
