SB: Clay Question

Greetings,

We are getting ready to plaster the interior of our SB in Montana and have
decided to use clay in our plaster mix. Is there a preferable or particular
type of clay that is best to use? We would prefer of course to get it
locally but we're not sure where to look for it...any suggestions?
