SB: mini bales

Hey all,

Speaking of gizmos, the authors of "Serious Straw Bale" mention
experimentation with mini bales by the Shelter Resources Institute. They
mention development of a pedal-powered stationary baler that would make
bales at 1/2, 1/3, or 1/4 size that could be used for partition walls and
gap fillers. Anyone have any info on the current status of that? Are their
designs available? Anyone making/selling/renting that type of get-up?
Good/bad/indifferent opinions from anyone who has used these mini-bales?

Thanks,
Nick
