BTW: If you want to delete suspicious email without opening it just buy
selecting it (using Outlook Express), You can turn off the preview pane
under View/Layout. From there you can even right-click on the message and
select Properties/Details/Message Source to take a peek at the contents.
If your mail reader (like OE) can read "richtext" it's possible for code
embedded in the HTML to infect you or cause some mischief. Several time's,
I've gotten email from someone I didn't know. The subject was ment to get my
attention, but the size (7k) indicated that there might be some nasty coding
in there. I checked out the message source, and indeed there was encrypted
code. The sender "spoofed" at least one point of origin. That is to say that
it appeared to come from Asia and Florida.
I used Shift-Delete to send it right past my Delete folder into Never-Never
Land.
