Any time I get a email virus warning, even if I thought it were real,  I'd 
check out the virus warning web pages  because  hoax virus  out number 
actual virus.

Don't feel bad.    Most of us   have probably   seen this 
self-inflicted  "virus"  about a half dozen times in the last few 
years.  By now I thought it was an old joke, kind of like the old Sven and 
Ole virus/ worm: "Hello  this is Sven and Ole and this is our vary first 
attempt at writing a computer virus.  If this  virus hasn't worked by now, 
to remove the defective virus  just  reformat your hard disk, but 
first  forward  this email  to everyone that you know."
