 there is a way around most viruses for all you wintel folks, especially good 
news considering wintel computers being the target of 99% of all viruses.
 it is fairly simple and quite painless and requires little effort and almost 
no expense, and it really works too.
 first GET RID OF INTERNET EXPLORER AND OUTLOOK/OUTLOOK EXPRESS!!!!, andd get 
rid of MS Office and Word, you can do it and not die, just get StarOffice 
from Sun and you can havee your compatability cake and eat it too.
 go to http://www.98lite.net and get the removal tools and sun for SO
 next go and get and install either netscape or opera, and switch to using  
eudora or a similar package.
 simple as that and you are virtually virus free. 
 anti-virus software is nice but only finds viruses AFTER they are introduced 
and you have updated the software. and too, it requires you to keep current 
with the latest generation of anti-virus software. 
 most people (almost everyone alive imho) would be more than well served 
using alternatives to MS software, and there is some really good shareware 
and freeware almost always faster smaller cheaper better
. or a mac, or a linux
 whatever viruses are for the most part a non-issue, for some of is anyway
