Re: SB: baseboard detail?

Hi...I was faced with the same dilemma. My plaster runs to the floor over
the toe up but it needs some protection against wayward vacumn cleaners and
mops. I concluded that wooden boards typical in regular dry wall homes
would look terrible and would not work with the curvy bale walls. My
solution has been to make custom tiles by the hundreds and tile a
"baseboard" (I could have bought them but it would cost a fortune
considering all the linear feet). So far so good. I like the look.
