Well, Susan, the real quote is that we did in fact stack the walls of
that little cabin in 3 1/2 hours. We did have good, experienced crew
leaders, good straw and a "stackable" design. No one said that we were
going to have the building "built". We have "stacked" large homes in a
weekend many times. The problem is that folks like yourself equate the
stack with getting the place done.
I understand your frustration at not being "done" after working on your
house for three plus years. You should realize that when Scott Morgan
talks about ANY building project on DREAM BUIL:DERS, he is an actor
reciting lines and semantics can be difficult. No reasonable person would
interpret his line to mean the building would be done in a day.
Good luck on your home. I'm sure that when you do declare it "built"
(most of us realize our SB houses are never, ever completely "done") it
will give you enough satisfaction to offset your current fellings.
