Here in Manitoba a laboratory was built on a
base as an experiment for the Cdn forces. Don't know who
built/organized/engineered it (prob. someone in Ontario? Rob Tom?).
Haven't seen this building yet but an article in
the Winnipeg Free Press last year stated that the workers were often too warm
while working there. It was also stated that the facility was far more
comfortable than their own homes.
I was offline due to a meltdown for a couple of
months. Will have to go to archives to try to find some other MB
SBers.
