SB: Alberta seminar

Join us for an afternoon of exploring the world of straw bale building.
We'll use videos and slides from buildings all over the world to examine
foundations, moisture protection, proper roof design and construction tips.
Canadian information for cold climate construction, how to get a permit,
insurance  and tips on electrical and plumbing.

This is a great opportunity to meet other straw bale enthusiasts, examine
the tools of the trade and take a look at a truly exciting form of
construction that is sweeping the globe.

There are straw bale buildings in almost every Province, even a Canadian
newsletter beginning and new CMHC testing underway.  Discover what tweaking,
flaking, fletching and pinning have to do with housing.
