SB: House for testing

I had a call today from an Ontario builder with his own straw bale house,
under construction, who is interested in research aspects. If anyone was
looking for a test house for (inexpensive) experiments on the performance
of straw bale walls, this might be a good opportunity. Among the tests that
occurred to me was a house temperature decay during winter. Basically, you
pull the plug on whatever heating system is in operation, and record the
temperature decline over time. Well insulated, high mass houses should take
days to drop to uncomfortable levels. I am going to ask him to try that.

Does anyone else have a test they have been interested in doing that might
be undertaken by this builder?
