Indoor air quality.
There have been numerous claims about how SB
houses are "healthier" than conventional homes.
I don't have any idea as to how to go about it just yet but
some sort of test that would give some sort of indication as to indoor
air quality would be nifty.
When the auxiliary heating system is shut down (to do the temperature
decay test that Don suggested) the mechanical ventilation system
(if one is installed) could also be shut down. This situation would
probably be not unlike the situation in many SB homes in which only
a hydronic radiant heating system was installed, opting to omit a
mechanical air handling system.
Again, I have no idea what the "simple test " might be or even if
one is feasible .
Perhaps dust accumulation or type of dust might be an indicator ?
Or the condition of the interior of one's nostrils ?
The decay time for "significant odour events" ?
(ie Seeking input & suggestions)
Perhaps the "control" for comparison, might be other
R-2000 houses ?
