SB: English cottage designs

Enough lurking, time to ask the question that's been on my mind for a long
time. I have liked the idea of strawbale homes ever since I learned about it
over a year ago. I've read every strawbale book that I can find at the
bookstore, and become acquainted with most of the links. In all that time, I
don't think I have found anything with plans for an English cottage-like
straw bale home, which is really surprising to me, since I think straw bale
would match the look very well--after all, many such cottages are built of
cob. (Ironically, I have only found one cob site that gives more than a
passing mention to English cottages.) Apparently, someone else asked this
question on the list a while ago, but the responses were not terribly
helpful. I hope to have better luck.
Actually, what I am searching for are English cottage plans in general. I
can adapt them to strawbale later. Most of the plan books (I hate those
things, but research is research) think that "English cottage" means a grand
estate. Meanwhile, I've got the image of this quaint, half-timbered cottage
down along the shore of Lake Minnetonka in Minnesota in my head. (That
recently sold for $800,000, but is smaller than even most urban houses. Not
something I could hope to afford! :)
Pictures would also be welcomed if plans are less than forthcoming.
