Re: SB: English cottage designs

A couple of years ago we had a couple who came to visit to see actual SB
stuctures. Their plan (at that time) was to build with straw,
incorporating the wooden supports that would be left exposed & stained,
add window boxes, and then white wash the plastered straw to give that
English cottage look. They were the only ones I have ever known who were
moving in that direction.

His name is George, they live in northern Texas and raise blueberries.
Can anyone identify them from that meager amount of info? If so, perhaps
their success or failure can give some added detail to your quest.
