Subject: strawbale in Oregon

Hello,
We are planning to build a house with strawbale and steel framing in
Portland area. What is your opinion about it in wet climate? Approvecho in
Eugene where they experiment with different materials have informed me that
strawbale is not a good idea in Oregon due to very high humidity. Do you
agree?
Thanks,
Panna.
