Re: SB: bale orientation

We have used a similar system and have had no problem with adhesion of earth
plaster. Our box beams are oly 15 inches wide though and we plastered
straight over them.

Subject: SB: bale orientation

Does anyone have experience with laying bales on their edge? We are
planning on using a modified post system with plywood boxbeams as post 16
inches deep. The bales would take around 14 inches of that space leaving
the rest for plaster. Our concerns are with plaster adhesion to the straw
sides as opposed to the ends. We'd appreciate any feedback we can get.
Thanks.

Jeff
