SB: back on the straw train

OK:

Four years, one marriage and a 14 X 20 shed later, I'm once again
entertaining the idea of a strawbale house of my very own.

In the time I haven't been following the list, did we reach a
consensus on the necessity of lath or chicken wire on the bales
before plastering or stuccoing? I remember reading posts from people
who said they built without it. Are those people now redoing their
finishes every spring?

Thanks for any info,

Sean
