SB: Uses for Sheetrock (Drywall, wallboard)

Hello, all.

So, as I re-do my roof, I am removing about sixteen sheets of
sheetrock. These are mostly intact, though some are halved. All of
them have screw holes through them.

I'll ask around and see if anyone wants to pick them up and use
them. However, if I can't find a use form them, I'll need to dispose
of them in some friendly fashion.

I've heard that they can be used as a soil amendment. Yes? No?
Limitations? What do they amend? If so, I could just use them as
mulch in the garden, I suppose. *That* ought to keep those weeds
down! >:)

     Any thoughts?
