SB: Color on inside walls

Hi fellow strawbalers,

We are very confused with the problem of coloring our plaster in the inside walls. In the "Serious Straw Bale" book page 42 right column.

They say that if you are using cement stucco on the outside that you can use a vapor permeable paint on the outside and a vapor retardant paint on the inside. If this can be done without compromising the breathability of the walls. We would live to do it. We live in Western South Dakota in the Black Hills in the banana belt where it's quite dry most of the year.

What are your thoughts?

Thanks and God Bless,
Chuck Kirk
