We were once able to get small bales about a foot long and comparatively
sized height and width. We could put them together to show a running
bond, put a little "buck" in, take them apart, put them back together,
etc.
Check craft stores. Quite often used in Halloween/Thanksgiving
decorations. Others have used blocks of styrofoam to resemble bales.
