Dear Hank and Anita

Congratulations on the start of your straw bale home.

It's a shame that you are not going on edge with the bales, another day
maybe!  Anyhow you are still going two stories load bearing and that is good
news.  Remember to keep them walls dry at 24 and 29 feet off the ground them
bales need tender loving care.

We just built a small cottage in Victoria with the bales on edge 5 high only
but still gave a wall height of 2.4 metres 8' high.  They look strong and
will easily support the roof.
