Tom Hahn an architect in Phoenix is one of the most knowledgable people around. His company is Sol Source and he also teaches at Arizona State. As a former editor of the Last Straw he has a wealth of knowledge on strawbale and multiple other sust. bldg systems. He and his wife Gina are working on (perhaps finished with) a straw bale Waldorf school in the Phoenix area. Good luck

Hello people out there in strawbale houses
I have been reading everything I can get my hands on about
strawbale houses.  I am sold on it, now it is time to do
some looking first hand at a strawbale house and talk to
someone face to face about some questions I have.  Is there
any strawbale house out here in phoenix I can look at and
hopefully a knowledgeable person I can talk to face to face
.  If not here in Phoenix , how about someone in tucson who
would not mind an intrusion by someone seriously interested
in building a strawbale house.
