Dear friends,
I'm a young rice miller in srilanka, and a university student. There are a
lot of Rice straws bun every year with out having any effect. Developing
the straw bale houses in this area is a another jork. Because people of the
this area are very pure and they need only , ful fil the reqrmets for
satisfy , day to day activities only. Thats not a their frailer and I
belive thats truth of the pourty and state's economic situation .
How ever ,I tried to start a small scale straw bale construction center
here and I ask fro the state government and other institutions for have a
effort , but unfortunately they do not care about the validity of this
resources and also I'm sure they would not help me for above purpose.
Ok, my request is,1] Are there any institution in the world , to have
knowledge and financial
support for straw bale constructions.
2]Could I found a any person or group or
organization to arrange a Join venture
for above purpose.
3]Could I arrange a "discussion" in this
discussion group ,for have a any effort.
4]If any thing cant arrange for this purpose ,
what is the best alternative
for these sraws.{ I mean do some thing
with out burning]
This is a world requirement, Think this is not belongs to particularly me
or Sri Lanka, because In Globalisation, these resources belongs to all of us.
I request all the members to join and discuss about above questions.
Thanks all.
Tharaka Herath.
