Good luck to anyone trying to straighten out the hoi poloi on that
one; I've been at it for years, with no discernible progress.  

Concrete is made with cement, usually Portland cement.  Cement is anything
that sticks things together, thus lime can be termed a cement--but
"nobody" refers to it so, and 99.9% of all journalists call concrete
"cement".  

It's a lost cause, Katie. . . .
