SB: Breaking up solid clay chunks
Does anyone have experience using a gravel compactor to break up solid
chunks of dry clay? Or any other methods besides super long soaking time or
using a hammermill? I have a few yards of dry chunks of clay (1/2" to 4 "
diameter) mixed with sand from a vein at a local sand pit, makes great
plaster but I need to break it down to 1/4" minus to finish my building.
Using a concrete block to crush it is quite slow and tough on the aging
back, so I was thinking of renting a compactor for a day. Thoughts?
Thanks.
