SB: WARNING: possible virus

Be very careful with the digest these days.  We are getting posts that
look to me like they could be a virus because they are in attachment form.
I am trying to get all attachments and HTML filtered out, but so far no
success.

If anyone knows if the poster (7thgeneration@echelon.ca) is a real person,
and actually posted this purposefully, please reply to me off list.
Otherwise, this may be a real subscriber who has been bitten by a virus
masquerading as the subscriber.  Or worse than that, a spammer or hacker
who has subscribed to the list for nefarious purposes.

Again, please only post plain text and no attachments.

This particular posting was almost all attachments, a .WAV file and web
page, not referred to, but included in the posting.  The only plain text
in the posting said something to the effect "here is a new web site that
you should enjoy".  The majority of the time I see these words in my own
Email is spam for porn sites, so I am very suspicious.

I don't want to send Email to this subscriber directly, because if it is
not a "real" subscriber, then I have just confirmed that that person is
free to spam our list.

So, if you are 7thgeneration@echelon.ca or know that this is a real
subscriber, please let me know.  I do not want to give any of our real and
dedicated subscribers any trouble, just make sure our list is safe.
