well,  the wall thawed,  and resumed the drying process with little or no
sign of ill effects from the freeze.   i dont think id like to count on that
and mud when i know its going to freeze,  but  at least i wont freak too
much if it happens again.     i also upped the amount of sand and lowered
the amount of clay,  and this batch had no cracking.   yay.   ofcourse,
perhaps that was due to the freezing.
