heres a thought... howabout having a time line of events based
around building a sb house. for instance, time to plant the oats...
harvest time... baling time... when to pour the slab, stuff like that. i
know that it would take forever to actually put down a REAL list of
events, but it would be cute, and please forgive me for actually
saying cute, to have some thing like that on the calendar.

just how do we go about aquiring one of these fine items....

and as for music... are you looking for suggestions or actual music to
be sent. im recalling this mentioned some time back, but if its longer
than a week, it all gets really fuzzy.

cheers,
dave, feeling let down because its cold and i cant plaster.

david and other uppercase-challenged folk;

I don't see why planting/harvesting times for various cereal grain types
(not just oats) can't be noted, (for Upside-down John's
neighbourhood as well, for that matter) ... and times to start seeds
indoors or plant outdoors for other plants as well ... or when the first
frosts of the year have happened in various locales etc., since it
would make the calendar a useful tool in addition to being someithing
to drool over (Tool 'n Drool) .

How to acquire one of these fine items ?
In the past, they have been offered as a "thank you" for donations to
the Casas que Cantan Fund, which in the past was used to create
interest-free loans to families in Xochitl Mexico to assist/enable them
to build their own homes. More specifics will be provided in the days
and weeks to come as the vision for this year's initiative becomes a
little more clear in our own heads.

The music:
It needs to be Real Music, Original Music, (Funky or Wonky or
Spiritual or Groovy or Sweet is fine... Headbanger, Heavy Metal or
GangstaRap probably less so) and can be submitted on tape or CD
or vinyl, or if you want to show up in Pennsylvania and record it live in
Suzanne's living room, I'm sure that could be arranged too.

And if you're feelin' down, with nuthin' to do cuz it's freezin' cold and
ya cain't plaster ... why not pick up the gee-tar or set yourself down
at the pie-yanna and compose a "I got the feelin' down, cain't plaster
blues" song and send 'er on in to:

      Casas que Cantan
