SB: Line putty freezing

Hi,

So everyone will understand the context of the several questions I'm going
to ask, I will describe the house. I am asking this in several emails in
order to keep the subjects narrow.

This house is 1500 SF outside the bales and is basically a metal (red iron)
structure. It has a porch across the entire front. There are no internal
load bearing walls. My plan is to probably start stuccoing in the spring
when things warm up.

I have just received Charmaine Taylor's book and am reading it with the
intention of starting my lime putty percolating shortly to be used in the
spring. I may find the answer in Charmaine's book as I read through it, but
thought I would ask the list's experience. My question is about the batches
freezing. For example, it got to 40 degrees last night and I have no inside
place to store the batches. Before Spring comes, we will have freeze and
snow around here (south central Colorado). Is the potential for freezing
likely to mess up the batches that I will start making? I'm not worried
about the problem of freezing breaking the containers.

Any actual experience members have had with this situation would be greatly
appreciated.

George Dalla Betta

P.S. Aside: I will back to my computer Thursday night and, unlike my stucco
restart question, I will definitely participate in the discussion. Thanks.
