I'm surprised that the farmer doesn't know anyone who can haul straw for
you.  As far as costs go, I shipped a load last week that was almost 400
miles for $900.  One went out today that was probably about 100 miles for
$370, but it was in the mountains.  These are California prices, which are
about double anywhere else for anything you wish to do, it seems.  Good
