SB: Re: radiant floor pumps
Hi Carolyn. We put tubes in the floor as well, but haven't yet hooked them
up. I have to say that I'm not sure we'll ever need to--our house simply
doesn't change temperature! We are also in a moderate climate (Northern
California), so our heating load is not that great (55-60 during day, 35-40
at night). All we do is have a fire in our small woodstove for about 3
hours in the evening, and that will carry us through the night and the next
day. After so many years in old, leaky farmhouses, it's very odd to never
feel cold, or hot for that matter! I guess my point here is to keep it
simple, because you may not need much.
Greg
