At the risk of sounding like a broken record....

We have a list of known/reported insurance companies/agents at the 
Straw Bale Building Registry site 
(http://sbregistry.greenbuilder.com/insurance.straw).  It takes a 
moment to bring the page up.

There's a mortgage page too.

Please register your SBs - yes, you can maintain complete privacy by 
clicking "no visitors" - and please be sure to supply as much info on 
insurance and mortgage as possible.  Agent names, phone numbers, and 
email addresses are particularly helpful to those who are looking.

As long as I'm on the subject, here's a quick report:

We now list 855 SB structures in 18 countries.  China is the leader 
(as far as reporting goes, since we know just about every one so far: 
597 total), with US breaking 200 just last week.  Canada is in third 
place with 20. SBs have been reported in 39 of the 50 US states.

Hmmm.  Maybe I should assign a homework assignment for the week:  get 
someone to report their SB in one of the following states:

Rhode Island
New Jersey
West Virginia
Delaware
Mississippi
Kentucky
Iowa	(I can't believe someone hasn't built SB in Iowa!)
Montana
Hawaii
North Dakota
South Dakota
