I have been told that with 9/11 that the insurance companies took a hit and
are trying to limit their liabilities. They don't realize that SB homes are
a better bet then "normal" construction.

I know it has been requested time and time again but I need info for
insurance.  I have insurance thru State Farm and have had for 3 years.   I
received a letter today that they will cancel our policy in a month with
the excuse that our post & beam s.b. is "non-conventional construction."
Our agent is a real s.o.b. and will not listen to any appeal.  If anyone is
aware of articles with reference stating facts, please let me know as well.
I'd like to fight this dog!
We live in S.W. Missouri where there are very few building codes.
