State Initiatives Central

REPP has compiled data and provided analysis for three types of state policy initiatives that promote renewable energy and/or efficiency programs and/or projects: Nitrogen-Oxide State Implementation Plans (NOx SIP), System Benefit Funds (SBF), and Renewable Portfolio Standards (RPS).

System Benefit Funds - Introduction
These programs are generally created to implement efficiency measures among all energy consumers.   

Renewable Portfolio Standards - Introduction
This policy mandates a certain percentage of a state's electricity generation come from renewable energy sources.
